Welcome to Lumines Derma. These Terms and Conditions outline the mutual obligations, policies, and expectations for treatments provided at our clinic. By booking and receiving services from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- Our Obligations
1.1. Lumines Derma is committed to providing safe, professional, and high-quality skin treatments in compliance with UK laws and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
1.2. All treatments are performed by trained and qualified professionals using approved techniques and products.
1.3. We will provide a thorough consultation, advising whether the treatment is suitable for you and its likelihood of success, based on your individual needs and medical history.
1.4. We ensure that our facilities and equipment meet strict hygiene and safety standards. - The Client’s Obligations
2.1. Clients must provide accurate and complete medical history, including allergies, medications, or other health conditions, during consultations.
2.2. Clients are required to follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by Lumines Derma to ensure the best possible outcome.
2.3. You must inform us immediately of any changes in your health or medication that may affect the treatment.
2.4. Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while on our premises. Lumines Derma will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal goods.
2.5. Failure to follow advice or disclose relevant medical information prior to each treatment will result in Lumines Derma not being held liable for any complications, adverse effects, or damage. - Our Liability
3.1. Lumines Derma is not liable for damage and adverse outcomes resulting from: Failure to disclose relevant medical information and Non-compliance with aftercare instructions.
3.2. Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided, and we are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses. - Confidentiality and Data Protection
4.1. Lumines Derma complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal and medical information provided by clients is confidential.
4.2. Images of treatments (before and after photos) will be taken to monitor progress and assess results. These images will only be used with your explicit consent and will be kept confidential.
4.3. Your information will only be shared with third parties (healthcare professionals) with your consent, except if required by law. - Booking and Payment
5.1. Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
5.2. A deposit of will be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
5.3. Full payment is required on the day of the treatment unless agreed in advance.
5.4. Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit cards, bank transfers. - Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 prior to your appointment.
6.2. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in losing your appointment.
6.3. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.
6.4. Clients must arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled treatment time to complete any relevant forms and prepare for the treatment. Failure to do so may result in delayed or rescheduled treatments. - Consultations and Medical History
7.1. A consultation is required before treatments to assess suitability and identify any contraindications.
7.2. It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant medical information during the consultation.
7.3. Failure to provide accurate information may impact treatment outcomes and void Lumines Derma’s liability. - Complaints and Feedback
8.1. We strive for excellence and welcome your feedback. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us immediately.
8.2. Formal complaints can be submitted in writing to enquiry@luminesderma.co.uk
8.3. Complaints will be investigated in line with our complaints procedure, and a response will be provided within 7 days. - Products and Aftercare
9.1. Aftercare advice will be provided following your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure the best results.
9.2. Products sold or recommended by Lumines Derma must be used as directed.
9.3. Lumines Derma is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from misuse of products or failure to follow aftercare instructions. - Minors
10.1. Treatments will not be performed on clients under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian, as required by UK law.
10.2. Some treatments may have stricter age restrictions. These will be discussed during the consultation.
